How we measure our DRESSES

Please note, all measurements are taken with the garment laid flat.

 1. Bust (PTP)
We measure across the bust area from edge-to-edge, or armpit-to-armpit.
To find the full bust measurement, simply double this number.
2. Waist
For the waist, we measure across the narrowest part of the dress from
left to right. This number is then doubled to give you the
full waist cicumference.
3. Length
We measure from the top of the shoulder (near the neckline) straight down
to the bottom hem of the dress.
4. Sleeve length (if applicable)
For dresses with sleeves, we measure from the shoulder seam down the
top edge of the sleeve to the end of the cuff.

How to use this chart
1. Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust.
2. Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, usually above the belly button.
Note:
The bust measurement is the primary determining factor when choosing
the size of dresses, especially those with a fitted or structured top.
Example:
If your bust is 36-37 inches and your waist is 24-25 inches, you'd likely
fall into a UK12 (for the bust), but if the waist is much smaller, you'd want
to look for dresses that have a looser fit, adjustable waist,
or that can be tailored for a more precise fit at the waist.
